Accountability

Accountability

Accountability and pleasing others is such a funny thing. Being a fitness professional, one thing I’ve noticed is how crucial accountability is to taking the first steps towards getting yourself on a  workout routine and sticking to it. The accountability that comes along with having a personal trainer is vital. But it has to be convenient and work around your schedule and lifestyle. You can set out with all the right intentions, but life gets in the way so having a tainer come to you for convenience while keeping you fully accountable makes all the difference. Even though the workout is all about you there’s something about having someone else to show up for/ to impress/ not let down keeps you showing up! Its a curious thing, you aren’t doing the workout for your trainer, you are the one who is moving, breathing, squatting lifting planking! You are the one who benefits, who feels better after who improves their health! But yet we need the accountability of having someone else to show up for. Whatever the psychology of it is, us as social beings. Accountability is exactly what you need to get past the hump and reach your fitness goals. Even if you go on vacation for a week, your trainer is there right when you get home. We fit in your life and make it happen.

Then, once you've achieved these fitness goals with your personal trainer, an even more amazing thing happens, you've built a relationship with this person and have learned to enjoy and look forward to your exercise routines. You like certain exercise and circuits more than others, sure, but now you have built a habit for life. For a life of movement, strength and confidence. But your fitness journey doesn’t end there. Hey, now you have this expert who you enjoy working out with, who you then work with to come up with a whole new set of goals! Goals you didn't even know would be possible back when you first had a trainer come to your house and lead you through challenging exercises. Imagine yourself here. It will take time, but that’s why you have us.
